What We Believe
- All Scripture is given by the inspiration of God.
[2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Peter 1:23-25; Hebrews 4:12] - One True God manifests in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
[Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 12:29; Isaiah 43:10; Matthew 28:19] - Jesus Christ is True God and true man.
[Galatians 4:4-5; 1 Timothy 3:16; John 1:14] - All have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and are in need of salvation.
[Genesis 1:26-31; 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-21] - Salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ and repentance of sin.
[Romans 3:24, Ephesians 2:8; Romans 10:8-10] - Sanctification is the will of God for all believers through obedience to the Word of God and the leading of the Holy Spirit.
[1 John 3:23; Acts 16:3; Romans 10:9-10; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5-7; Romans 14:10-12; and 2 Corinthians 5:10] - Every believer should participate in water baptism and the observance of Holy Communion.
[Matthew 28:19; Acts 10:47-48; Romans 6:4; 1 Corinthians 11:24-25, 28] - Every believer should seek after the gift of the Holy Spirit with the manifestation of speaking in other tongues.
[Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4-8, I Corinthians 12:1-31; Acts 2:38; 10:44-46; 11:24-26; 15:7-9] - The Church (the Body of Christ) consists of all who have received Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
[Ephesians 1:22, 2:19-22; Hebrews 12:23] - Jesus’ death and resurrection enable believers to live the abundant life:
spiritually [John 3:3,11; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21; Romans 10:9-10]
physically [Isaiah 53:4,5; Matthew 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24]
mentally [2 Timothy 1:7; Romans 12:2; Isaiah 26:3]
financially [3 John 1:2; Malachi 3:10-11; Luke 6:38; 2 Corinthians 9:6-10; Deuteronomy 28:1-14] - The coming of the Lord Jesus Christ to rule and reign on this earth is imminent.
[1 Corinthians 15:51-52; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; 2 Thessalonians 2:1] - There shall be a bodily resurrection of the just and of the unjust.
[Romans 11:25, 27; 2 Thessalonians 1:7; Revelation 19:11-16; 20:1-7; 21]
